A bond clean (also called an end of tenancy clean or vacate clean) is a thorough clean of a rental property at the end of a tenancy. It must meet the standard required by the landlord or property manager to release your bond under the Residential Tenancies Act.
Our end of tenancy clean covers every room including all kitchen surfaces, appliances, and inside the oven; bathroom and toilet scrubbing and disinfection; window sills and tracks; skirting boards; carpet vacuuming; and mopping of all hard floors. We clean to the standard expected by NZ property managers.
Our bond cleans are completed to the standard required by NZ landlords and property managers. If anything is missed on inspection, we offer a free re-clean within 24 hours. We also provide full photo documentation of your property showing the condition it was left in, giving you evidence to support your bond refund claim. Please note: we take no responsibility for a bond not being returned due to wear and tear or damages caused by the tenant during the duration of their tenancy.
The cost of a bond clean depends on the size and condition of the property. Most bond cleans start from $450 + GST, but every job is different. We offer a free quote for your property so you get an exact price with no surprises — contact us on or fill in our online form to get started.
We recommend booking at least 3–5 days before your tenancy end date to ensure availability. We do accept last-minute bookings subject to availability — contact us and we will do our best to fit you in.

Glass cancer (also known as glass corrosion or hard water staining) is a form of permanent damage caused by mineral deposits, chemical exposure, or environmental oxidation that etches into the surface of the glass itself. It appears as cloudy, milky, or pitted patches that cannot be removed by cleaning alone. We can clean all glass surfaces thoroughly, but glass cancer is a structural damage issue — not a cleaning issue — and falls outside the scope of what any cleaning service can fix. We take no responsibility for glass cancer or any other pre-existing damage or wear and tear to the property.
